The Complex Life of a Church Janitor.: Reflection on Easter.

churchjanitor:

There’s a mirror that’s called life.

You stare into every day.

It started out so clean. You could see your reflection so clearly. Every detail accurately depicted before your eyes.

God’s perfect love is eternal love. It can’t be earned by what you do nor forfeited by what you don’t do. You can choose to receive it, or you can choose to ignore it, but you can’t end it. God will not force you to enjoy his love, but you can’t stop him from offering it.

It’s always your light
that chases out the darkness
hiding inside me.

Don’t live by cheap grace.  His death was not cheap and therefore our response, if we have truly experienced grace is utter surrender and worship and obedience.  We fall short and we fail many times, over and over but we have to keep on trying. Perseverance leads to character and character to hope. Don’t live a cheap life because His grace is not cheap.

God is a God of beautiful stories.

I know that deep inside, I really don’t care about anything but Jesus.
